Philadephia Trucking Accident Victims Awarded $26.1 million

According to a recent news report, in a Philadelphia County trucking accident case involving a severe tractor-trailer collision, Plaintiff Kathryn “Katie” Sneeringer was awarded $26.1 million in a Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. The Defendant riving for GLC Transportation Inc., was traveling at 71 mph when he hit P.J.
Sneeringer’s Toyota stopped at a road construction site. The crash resulted in the death of David Cook, while leaving Peter Sneeringer with a catastrophic brain injury disabling his speech and motor functions. The Plaintiffs’ attorney claimed that the defendant acted in a highly reckless manner when he increased the speed of the tractor-trailer after driving past construction signs warning him of the upcoming construction zone.
