Mike Johnston is “Of Counsel” to the Levensten Law Firm. Mr. Johnston was born and raised in Philadelphia and completed all levels of his education in his hometown. He has worked as an intern for former Mayor Edward G. Rendell of Philadelphia (also during his successful campaign to become Governor of Pennsylvania) and for former Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter. Additionally, Mr. Johnston spent a semester as an intern at The White House in Washington, D.C. during the administration of President Bill Clinton. As a law student, Mr. Johnston worked as a clerk for both a local personal injury firm and for the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC).

Mr. Johnston has gained experience working at The Levensten Law Firm, P.C. since the early stages of its inception in 2006, first as a law clerk and office manager and now as the firm’s most senior Associate. Mr. Johnston has also been recognized by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2013. The Super Lawyers list is issued by Thomson Reuters. Outside of the office, Mr. Johnston is well regarded for his involvement in semi-pro (amateur) baseball. He has played the sport since his childhood, continuing to the present, and has founded a team that plays in three separate leagues (the Philadelphia Yankees), a fall baseball league (the Philadelphia Fall Baseball League), is Treasurer of the Fairmount Park ‘A’ League, and is Treasurer of the Liberty Bell Men’s Baseball League (LBMBL). Mr. Johnston’s Philadelphia Yankees team participates in two summer leagues, the fall league, as well as local and national tournaments, earning notoriety in numerous national publications, including coverage by the local print media. In recent years, Mr. Johnston and other teammates, along with players from other teams, participated in two events garnering significant attention, an exhibition against the Russian Olympic Team and an inter-league exhibition at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball.

Mr. Johnston was sworn into the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars in 2008, the District of Columbia Bar in 2013, and is admitted to practice before the state courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
